2017 Best Bulletin Contest

Thank you to everyone who submitted their bulletin for the 2017 Best Bulletin Contest. We received almost 200 entries from all over the country and were truly amazed at the work Catholic parishes are producing every single week.

Our panel of judges looked through every single bulletin searching for outstanding color, cover art, stewardship and formational content, and overall readability. They narrowed it down to ten bulletins for each category which were then presented to the public to vote for their favorites.

The response was incredible. More than 5,000 votes were cast across three categories and we were beyond excited to see the passion people have for this central piece of parish communication.

Best Bulletin Cover

The award for Best Bulletin Cover goes to St. Laurence Catholic Church in Sugar Land, TX submitted by Communications Coordinator Ron Martinez. In addition to being featured as the 2017 winner, St. Laurence will receive a $150 donation from LPi.

The award for Best Bulletin Content goes to St. Louise de Marillac in Warren, MI, submitted by Bulletin Editor Christine Bebbington. In addition to being featured as the 2017 winner, St. Louise de Marillac will also receive a $150 donation from LPi.

Best Overall Bulletin – Judge’s Choice

The award for Best Overall Bulletin – Judge’s Choice goes to Cathedral of Christ the King in Lexington, KY, submitted by Director of Advancement Katie Sheppard. This award was selected by our judging panel independent of voting. In addition to being featured as the 2017 winner, Cathedral of Christ the King will receive a $250 donation from LPi.

Best Overall Bulletin

The award for Best Overall Bulletin – People’s Choice goes to Holy Family Church in Enfield, CT, submitted by Associate Pastor Reverend Tim Hickey. This award was selected as the best Catholic bulletin by more than 25% of our voters. In addition to being featured as the 2017 winner, Holy Family Church will receive a $500 donation from LPi.
