Tools for Growth in Davenport

LPi EventsThe LPi team traveled to Davenport, Iowa, for a stewardship day on March 6th. LPi’s Keith Alberts presented “Simple Online Tools to Help Grow Your Ministry.” The presentation offered an overview of modern technology’s impact on churches, provided tips on necessary tools for a tech toolbox, and offered advice on creating a welcoming online presence to grow a vibrant parish. The day rounded out with a keynote from Davenport’s Bishop Thomas Zinkula and workshops on developing lay witness stories, evangelization through marketing, volunteer recruitment, and engaging young people in a stewardship way of life.

Advancing a Stewardship Way of Life in Detroit

Members of the LPi team were honored to be present at “Joyful Missionary Disciples: A Steward’s Response.” This set of workshops offered inspiration and training for pastors, stewardship coordinators, business managers, and parishioners active in pastoral leadership. The day featured a keynote from Most Rev. Donald Hanchon, the auxiliary bishop of Detroit. Breakout sessions looked at building stewardship commission teams, welcoming hospitality, planning for successful ministry events, and more.

Building Vibrant Parishes in Southern Texas

LPi EventsTracy Earl Welliver empowered over 100 parish staff members in Texas this week. St. Laurence Catholic Church in Sugar Land and St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houston hosted Building a Vibrant Parish Seminars for area churches. With over 20 of experience in parish ministry, Tracy offered insight into four key areas of parish life — identity, communication, formation, and discipleship — and connected each area to strategies and practical tools. Staff members walked away with fresh ideas for a variety of topics, including hospitality, impactful digital communication, and financial and pastoral planning.
