Introducing Our New Art and Content in WeCreate for 2024

Chelsea Wilde • October 26, 2023

Throughout the year, our team is constantly creating all-new liturgical content for our WeCreate Catholic digital art and content library. We are proud to share what’s new for 2024! Get ready for not one, but TWO, new cover art series, beautiful custom saint illustrations focusing on saints devoted to the eucharist, original Catholic comics, and more outlined below. If you don’t have access to WeCreate yet, click here to learn more about this extensive Catholic resource library. Now, without further ado, here’s what’s new —

New Cover Series: The Immerse Series

The Immerse series is designed to have more of a macro-focus on the Gospel message for each week, paired with nature photography specifically selected to tie in with the Gospel message. This series starts in Advent (December) for the new liturgical cycle and includes three different image size options in both Spanish and English. Many of the images are of the actual locations spoken about in the Gospels each week! To learn more about this series and see some examples, check out the recent series announcement.

New Cover Series: The Traditional Series

A new design for an old favorite, the new look for the Traditional Series is something we are very proud of! Each week these designs feature a lithograph style image alongside a scripture that directly correlates to that week’s Gospel message. The covers are also available in multiple image sizes so that parishes can use the images with more flexibility when it comes to their bulletin layout. Churches who value traditional imagery will enjoy them as well as those who might lean toward a more modern approach to their bulletin design.

Catholic Saint Illustrations: Saints With a Devotion to the Eucharist

Last year we rolled out a brand-new style of design for our weekly saint series — custom illustrations made by our in-house designers for each holy person we profiled. We are continuing these wildly popular pieces this year, but the saints featured are following a brand-new theme! In 2024, the new theme for our saint biographies will be saints (and Catholic holy people) who had a special devotion to the Eucharist.

Announcing the Eucharistic Congress

The 10th National Eucharistic Congress will be held in July of 2024 in Indianapolis, IN. To help parishes prepare for this monumental event, we’ve been hard at work creating a plethora of diverse images being released monthly that celebrate and educate about the Blessed Sacrament. This content can be found by searching “Eucharistic Congress” in WeCreate and encompasses pieces for your parish’s social media like special story slides, as well as bulletin covers, pieces with quotes about the Eucharist, educational tidbits, and so much more.

Faithful Funnies: Custom Catholic Comics

Did you know that some of our most frequently praised content in WeCreate is our Father Flood comics? In 2024 we have an all-new Catholic comic series called Faithful Funnies being created specifically for LPi customers. These comics with a retro vibe and Dad Joke style feature humorous content that is always paired with a Catholic fact to tie it all in. You won’t be able to find these entertaining and educational comics anywhere else so keep your eyes on the Humor section for their monthly releases

Sharable Weekly Prayers

Every single week we include a short prayer in the Sunday text document. These prayers are short enough that they can be placed into spots with space constrictions, like social media or small spots in the bulletin. The prayers tie into the week’s readings but also can be used throughout the Church year. For example, the Corpus Christi Gospel prayer piece is a "Prayer on the Eucharist" which could be used for First Communion as well. In 2024 you can now find the prayers searchable by keyword in the Prayers Section!

Improved Search for More Findable Content

In 2024 we’re introducing a new section for Catholic Triva. These pieces, previously featured only in the Sunday text document will now be searchable by keyword. The Humor section will also get an upgrade in searchability, look for individual jokes and riddles, bulletin bloopers all searchable by keyword.

Every month we add hundreds of new pieces of Catholic art and content across WeCreate to help you create vibrant parish communications. The best news? All LPi bulletin customers receive full access to this resource library! Not a bulletin customer yet? Learn more!

We would love to see how you use this new content! Be sure to tag LPi in your social media posts so that we can see the incredible work you are doing in your community.

It saddens me that Christians have somehow gained this reputation as a people who judge, who condemn. Today’s Gospel is an invitation for us to consider how we engage with people who disagree with us.
